Workshops
This year, CEPA is innovating: we are opening the event with a series of participatory workshops. The idea is simple: to get to know each other better within our community, share our practices, pool our sticking points... and leave with concrete ideas to try out tomorrow. These workshops are designed to be friendly and pragmatic exchanges, where we can share our experiences and become more effective as a group.
Workshop #1: Ecophysiology and societal challenges
- Co-chairs: Andréaz Dupoué, Arianna Servili, Marie Vagner
- Objective: Identify the contributions and role of ecophysiology in responding to current and future societal challenges. What has ecophysiology brought us so far, and where will it take us?
- Deliverable: Mind map
Workshop #2: Ecophy-cacité at work: we're here to help!
- Co-chairs: Agnès Lewden, Rafael Trevisan, Fanny Rioual
- Objective: Whether we are researchers or students, we all start our day with a long list of things to do: emails, meetings, funding applications, analyses, writing, administrative tasks... So where to start? In this workshop, we will look at how to improve your efficiency at work by identifying simple, concrete and personalised actions.
- Deliverable: Good ideas for better organisation
Workshop #3: Peer review
- Co-chairs: Amélia Viricel-Pante, Eric Pante, Karine Salin, Elodie Fleury
- Objective: As researchers and students, we often have to review manuscripts: how can we improve quality without spending more time on it? In this workshop, with the support of editors, we will identify key methods, winning strategies and practical tools for providing useful and effective feedback.
- Deliverable: Best practices and a practical checklist for reviewing quickly and effectively.
